Volleyball Game Preview: Beech Grove Hornets vs. Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter Raiders

Beech Grove is on an eight-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter a four-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Beech Grove Hornets will be playing at home against the Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Beech Grove lost 3-0 to Christel House on Monday.

While Beech Grove ultimately came up short, they really made Christel House work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-19, 25-10.

Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Christel House.

The final score came out to 25-23, 21-25, 25-23, 25-11.

Beech Grove couldn't quite get it done against Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can Beech Grove avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
