Volleyball Recap: New Canaan's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Two

New Canaan won the last time they faced Stamford and Mia Lockyer did her part to make sure it happened again. The Rams blew past the Black Knights 3-0 on Saturday with plenty of help from Lockyer, who had 30 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

New Canaan was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 25-4.

The victory made it two in a row for New Canaan and bumps their season record up to 9-2. As for Stamford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

New Canaan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Darien on the 6th. As for Stamford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Westhill on the 6th.
