Basketball Recap: Eli Jaixen Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Riverside

There's no place like home for Arcadia/Loup City, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They managed a 51-46 win over the Riverside Chargers on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rebels as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Arcadia/Loup City got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Eli Jaixen out in front who posted 14 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Lewandowski, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards.

Arcadia/Loup City's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Riverside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Arcadia/Loup City has already played their next game (against South Loup), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Riverside will take on Nebraska Christian in a tournament on Monday.
