Game recap: Grayson High School Football Team tops Brookwood

LOGANVILLE, Ga. - Grayson (Loganville, Ga.) kept up a steady attack all game long to upset Brookwood (Snellville, Ga.), 42-13, on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a David McTier touchdown run in the second quarter, the Rams led 21-13 at the half.

Grayson expanded its lead to 22 points entering the fourth quarter. GHS scored two times in the third, including once on a McTier touchdown run.

With the win the Loganville school extended its winning streak to seven games. The Rams defeated the Tigers 48-0 last week.

Jamaal Cole played well for the Broncos. The senior running back caught one touchdown.



Grayson's most effective player was McTier. The senior quarterback ran for two touchdowns.

Led by Robert Nkemdiche, GHS went into the matchup giving up only 7.9 points per game.

The Rams also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 14-7.
