St. John came into Monday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Catholic Memorial Knights on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Pioneers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory got St. John's back to even at 6-6. As for Catholic Memorial, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
