Basketball Recap: Episcopal Takes a Loss

If Episcopal was riding high fresh off their 62-35 takedown of Houston Christian last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Episcopal Knights took a blow against the Kinkaid Falcons on Tuesday, falling 71-21. The game marked the Knights' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Episcopal has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. As for Kinkaid, they pushed their record up to 21-9 with the win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.

Episcopal will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Legacy School of Sport Sciences at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Kinkaid, they will challenge St. John's at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Kinkaid knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully St. John's likes a good challenge.
