Basketball Recap: Capital Prep Trailblazers vs. Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens
Capital Prep lost against Academy of Science and Innovation back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Capital Prep Trailblazers took a blow against the Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens, falling 72-32. The Trailblazers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-17.
Javaris Spencer and Syre Gillespie certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Spencer dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Gillespie posted eight points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Spencer has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more boards the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Mha'Nye March, who put up three points.
