Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Eastern Montgomery turned things around against Craig County on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 27-25 win over the Rockets.

Meanwhile, Bath County had to suffer through a 65-20 loss at the hands of Narrows. The loss was the Chargers' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bath County fell to 2-1. As for Eastern Montgomery, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

Everything came up roses for Eastern Montgomery against Bath County in their previous matchup back in February of 2022, as the squad secured a 48-5 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eastern Montgomery since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
