Baseball Game Preview: Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers vs. Silverdale Academy Seahawks

For the second straight game, Boyd-Buchanan will face off against Silverdale Academy. Boyd-Buchanan will host Silverdale Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Boyd-Buchanan fell victim to Silverdale Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seahawks.

For Silverdale Academy's part, the team relied heavily on Caleb Voss, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI Voss has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Bennet Reagan, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Silverdale Academy moved to 5-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Boyd-Buchanan, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5-1.
