Volleyball Recap: Laurel Hill Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Laurel Hill and Jay squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Laurel Hill had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Royals. If the Hoboes were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Royals when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Laurel Hill saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ryleigh Rainey had six digs and two aces.

Laurel Hill moved to 9-9 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Jay, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-4.

Laurel Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jay, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Baker on the 16th.
