Basketball Recap: Chapman Comes Up Short

Chapman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 54-46 to the Marysville Bulldogs. If the Irish were looking for revenge after losing 52-42 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chapman's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Marysville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chapman won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Clay Center at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marysville, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Concordia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
