Softball Recap: Comfort Takes a Loss

Comfort was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the Marion Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-7 two weeks ago.

Comfort saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raquelle Ibarra, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Comfort's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Marion, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3-3 record this season.

Comfort will be taking part in a tournament against Canyon Lake at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Marion, they will square off against Poteet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
