Soccer Recap: Lead Southeast Gets the Win

Lead Southeast's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Pearl-Cohn Firebirds with a sharp 8-2 win. Kevin Cruz Banegas was a massive factor in the win as he booted in four goals all by himself.

Lead Southeast's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Pearl-Cohn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lead Southeast will head out to challenge KIPP Nashville Collegiate at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pearl-Cohn, they will take on Whites Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pearl-Cohn are facing Whites Creek at the right time seeing as Whites Creek are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
