Basketball Recap: King's Christian Academy Takes a Loss

King's Christian Academy lost against Avalon back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The King's Christian Academy Eagles took a hard 82-68 fall against the Avalon Black Knights.

Avalon's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Arulefela, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 16 points and three steals. Jordan Fox was another key player, going 7-for-8 on his way to 16 points.

King's Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 17 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season. As for Avalon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, King's Christian Academy and Avalon will both be playing Calverton the next time they take the court. King's Christian Academy will host Calverton at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Avalon will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
