Football Game Recap: Bucklin vs. Chase

Their game last Friday wasn't at all kind to Bucklin, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. They put the hurt on Chase with a sharp 38-6 victory. Chase can consider this payback for the 6-52 loss they dealt Bucklin the last time the teams encountered one another.

Bucklin struggled in the first half and ended with 0 points. Chase couldn't get anything started offensively, either, which meant the halftime score sat untouched at 0-0. The other side of the ball continued to do well for Bucklin in the second half and held Chase to 6 points. The win bumped Bucklin's record up to 1-2. Chase are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.

Next week Bucklin take on Ingalls at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. Chase will look to defend their home turf against Stafford at 7:00 PM.
