Baseball Recap: East Central Takes a Loss

East Central lost against Ogilvie back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles fell just short of the Lions by a score of 6-5. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one run.

East Central is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only three runs. As for Ogilvie, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: East Central beat the Lions by a score of 14-1 later that day.
