Basketball Recap: Rockwood Comes Up Short

Rockwood lost against Wartburg Central back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rockwood Tigers took a 41-23 bruising from the Wartburg Central Bulldogs. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rockwood's record now sits at 7-15. As for Wartburg Central, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Rockwood Tigers duke it out with the Oliver Springs Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wartburg Central, they will square off against Jellico at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Jellico is on a nine-game streak of home losses, Wartburg Central a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change.
