Volleyball Recap: Belvidere North Victorious

Belvidere North lost to Freeport back in April, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Blue Thunder came out on top against the Pretzels by a score of 2-0.

Belvidere North never let Freeport on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 26-24.

Belvidere North's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-14. As for Freeport, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Belvidere North will challenge Antioch at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Freeport, they will take on Christian Life at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pretzels are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
