Basketball Game Preview: Westminster Wolves vs. Riverdale Ridge Ravens

The Westminster Wolves will square off against the Riverdale Ridge Ravens at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westminster knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Riverdale Ridge likes a good challenge.

Last Thursday, Westminster beat Pomona 70-57.

Westminster's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Michael Davidson, who posted 15 points in addition to five assists and four steals. Davidson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed four or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Westley Trout, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 14 points.

Meanwhile, Riverdale Ridge lost to Green Mountain at home by a 66-48 margin on Monday. While the Ravens didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rams 17-13 in the first quarter.

Riverdale Ridge's defeat ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-8. As for Westminster, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
