Softball Recap: Irving Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Irving finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Lehman Lions, falling 17-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which Irving was not able to get on the board.

Irving's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Lehman, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Irving didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-7 victory against Roosevelt Educational on the 23rd. As for Lehman, they have also already played their next matchup, an 18-16 win against Art & Design on the 24th.
