Baseball Game Preview: Lindsay Leopards vs. Little Axe Indians

The Lindsay Leopards will head out to face off against the Little Axe Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Little Axe took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Lindsay, who comes in off a win.

While Lindsay's win against Kingston wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Lindsay won by a run and slipped past Kingston 6-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Leopards.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 16 runs the game before, Little Axe was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 9-1 to Konawa.

Little Axe saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was J.J. Tucker, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Little Axe dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lindsay, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Everything went Lindsay's way against Little Axe when the teams last played back in April of 2016, as Lindsay made off with an 11-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lindsay since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
