Soccer Recap: Milwaukee King Comes Up Short

If Milwaukee King was feeling good fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Milwaukee School of Languages two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Generals took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Milwaukee Reagan Huskies on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Milwaukee Reagan this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in April.

Milwaukee King has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Milwaukee Reagan, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Milwaukee King is set to face off against their familiar foe South at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Milwaukee Reagan will take on rival Milwaukee School of Languages at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
