Soccer Recap: Republic Takes a Loss

After flying high against Joplin on Tuesday, Republic came back down to earth. The Tigers came up short against the Kickapoo Chiefs on Thursday, falling 5-0. Republic have struggled against Kickapoo recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Republic's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Kickapoo, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-5.

Republic has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Rock Bridge on the 3rd. As for Kickapoo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lebanon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
