Ooltewah and Soddy Daisy are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Owls will venture away from home to face off against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Meanwhile, Soddy Daisy played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 35-7 loss at the hands of Walker Valley. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 108th, while the Mustangs are ranked 30th).

Ooltewah's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Soddy Daisy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Ooltewah was taken down by Soddy Daisy 28-0 in their previous meeting back in August of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Trojans' Tucker Ross, who rushed for 135 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries, and also threw for 57 yards and one touchdown on only five passes.
