Volleyball Recap: Lincoln High Comes Up Short at Home Against Lincoln Southeast

Lincoln High unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Lincoln Southeast Knights on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 14 in a row.

While Lincoln High was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Lincoln Southeast's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 25-18.

Coincidentally, Lincoln High and Lincoln Southeast will both be playing Platte County the next time they take the court. The Links will head out to face the Pirates at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Knights will play them later in the day, at 10:30 a.m.
