Basketball Recap: Seneca Find Success

Seneca lost to Ithaca back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Seneca Indians escaped with a win against the Ithaca Bulldogs by the margin of a single free throw, 46-45.

Seneca has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for Ithaca, they moved to 10-4 with that loss, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Seneca has already played their next match (against De Soto), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ithaca will be playing in front of their home fans against Brookwood at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Ithaca is facing Brookwood at the right time seeing as Brookwood is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
