Football Recap: Martinsville Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 6-6 at halftime, Martinsville was not quite Pawnee/Lincolnwood's equal in the second half on Saturday. They took a 26-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pawnee/Lincolnwood. If the Bluestreaks were looking for revenge after losing 42-12 to Pawnee/Lincolnwood when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Martinsville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pawnee/Lincolnwood, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Martinsville is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Dugger Union at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pawnee/Lincolnwood, they will square off against Meridian at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
