Soccer Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They came up short against the Tanner Rattlers, falling 11-0. While losing is never fun, Lee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 211th, while Tanner are ranked 68th).

Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Tanner, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-4-1.

Lee wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 10-1 loss against Buckhorn on the 25th. As for Tanner, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on James Clemens at 7:15 p.m. on April 8.
