Basketball Recap: Wabasso Piles Up the Points Against Red Rock Central

There's no place like home for Wabasso, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Red Rock Central Falcons 82-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Rabbits have posted since December 16, 2024.

Henry Stavnes and Austin Imker certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Stavnes almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds, while Imker posted six points. Stavnes is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played.

Wabasso's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Red Rock Central, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Wabasso has already played their next game, a 69-58 loss against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop on the 12th. As for Red Rock Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 86-51 defeat against Russell-Tyler-Ruthton on the 14th.
