Mission Bay won the last time they faced University City and things went their way on Friday too. The Mission Bay Buccaneers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the University City Centurions 81-39. The Buccaneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why University City lost, don't look at Dylan Griffin. Despite the final result, he posted 19 points along with eight boards and three steals. Griffin's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Mathias Baluyot was another key player, putting up nine points.

Mission Bay's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for University City, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-10.

Mission Bay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 50-49 victory against Vista Murrieta on the 25th. University City has also already played their next contest, a 74-49 win against La Jolla on the 28th.
