Volleyball Recap: South Lafourche Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

South Lafourche came tearing into Wednesday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the South Terrebonne Gators 3-0. The Tarpons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Gators, too.

The victory didn't come easy: South Terrebonne scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 25-18.

Aubree Lombas paced South Lafourche's offense, picking up 12 kills. Lombas got some help from Addison Rodrigue and her 28 assists. Finally, Lombas was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

South Lafourche's win bumped their record up to 19-7. As for South Terrebonne, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. South Lafourche will take on Vandebilt Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Terrebonne, they will venture away from home to challenge Morgan City at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
