University School of Jackson came tearing into Saturday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Huntingdon Mustangs with points to spare, taking the game 59-40. Given the Bruins' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Mustangs are ranked 247th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

University School of Jackson's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Huntingdon, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

University School of Jackson will take on Memphis University School at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Huntingdon, they will square off against Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
