Beacon waltzed into their match on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 51-39 win over the Marlboro Central Dukes.

Beacon's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for Marlboro Central, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Beacon and Marlboro Central should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. Beacon will challenge Liberty at 5:30 p.m. on Monday up 579 places (91 vs. 670). Similarly, Marlboro Central (ranked 169th) will meet Saugerties (ranked 432nd) at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
