ALA - West Foothills won against Highland Prep last Tuesday with 66 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The ALA - West Foothills Guardians claimed a resounding 66-16 win over the River Valley Dust Devils. The Guardians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 28 points or more this season.

Veronica Galvez and Avery Waldrip certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Galvez posted seven points, while Waldrip scored seven points.

The victory was the fourth in a row for ALA - West Foothills, bringing their record for this year to 8-6. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.8 points per game. As for River Valley, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

ALA - West Foothills has already played their next match, a 48-34 win against Florence on the 20th. As for River Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 79-9 defeat against Yuma Catholic on the 18th.
