Soccer Game Preview: Buena Vista vs. Millard West

The Buena Vista Bison are taking a road trip to square off against the Millard West Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Buena Vista turned things around against Westview on Wednesday. They never let the Wolverines get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Buena Vista's winning goal came courtesy of Erick Renderos.

Meanwhile, Millard West and Elkhorn South combined for 12 shots on goal on Monday, which explains the impressive seven total goals scored. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over the Storm. The score was close at halftime, but Millard West pulled away in the second half with four goals.

The win (which was Millard West's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three games. As for Buena Vista, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-6.
