Milledgeville will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Eastland extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Cougars came out on top against Morrison by a score of 2-0.
Eastland easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-10.

Eastland's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keara Kaus, who had 15 assists and two aces. Kaus is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 32 games she's played dating back to last season. Morgan McCullough was another key player, getting 13 digs.
Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Milledgeville's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fulton.
The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by exactly three points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22.
Eastland's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Milledgeville, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-4.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's match: Eastland has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 5.2 aces per game. However, it's not like Milledgeville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
