Baseball Recap: Penncrest Lions vs. Conestoga Pioneers
Penncrest extended their losing streak to five on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 3-9 in the process. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Conestoga Pioneers. That's two games in a row now that the Lions have lost by exactly four runs.
Jeremy Schneider and Landon Graham did some serious damage despite the final result: Schneider went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Graham went 2-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that Graham has launched this season.
As for Conestoga, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games.
