Volleyball Recap: Rock Bridge Gets the Win

After losing to Marquette the last time they met, Rock Bridge decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bruins had just enough and edged out the Mustangs 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bruins have posted since September 4th.

Rock Bridge had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-16, 25-20.

Terry Schrock was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 16 digs and three assists. That's the most digs she has posted over her last 11 matchups. Alyssa Boehmer also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Rock Bridge's win bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Marquette, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.
