Basketball Game Preview: Fox Tech Buffaloes vs. Seguin Matadors

Two dominant forwards in Timothy Morgan and Corey Dailey are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Fox Tech Buffaloes will venture away from home to square off against the Seguin Matadors at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Fox Tech is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Jefferson on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Fox Tech was outmatched by Jefferson and fell 69-41. The defeat continues a trend for the Buffaloes in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Seguin waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Hurricanes 67-53.

Seguin's win came from a few key players Fox Tech will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Dailey, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Cameron Juarez-Bruns, who went 5 of 8 en route to 11 points along with eight boards and four steals.

Fox Tech's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Seguin, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.
