Basketball Recap: Centennial Piles Up the Points Against Maywood CES

Centennial's tournament run continued when they took on Maywood CES on Saturday. The Apaches simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wolfpack 61-21. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Apaches.

Centennial now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Maywood CES, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Centennial will square off against Hawthorne at 6:53 a.m. on Monday. The contest will give the Apaches their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Maywood CES, they will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Annenberg at 9:00 a.m. The Wolfpack will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 63.4 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
