Softball Recap: North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays vs. Culver Community Cavaliers

North Judson-San Pierre dropped their record down to 7-9 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell 4-0 to the Culver Community Cavaliers. The Bluejays were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cavaliers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Molly Madsen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on 11 hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

North Judson-San Pierre wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-3 defeat against Pioneer on the 16th. As for Culver Community, they will square off against South Bend Career Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
