Baseball Recap: Riverside Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Riverside, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Quaker Valley Quakers on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Quakers: they've now won six in a row.

Zach Hare made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sean Hayes, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Riverside's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Quaker Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Riverside beat the Quakers by a score of 8-4 on Thursday.
