Softball Recap: Wahluke Comes Up Short

Wahluke lost against Toppenish on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wahluke Warriors lost 31-15 to the Toppenish Wildcats. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (ten), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

Wahluke dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Toppenish, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Wahluke is taking a road trip to take on College Place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. This will be Wahluke's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Toppenish, they will look to defend their home field on March 20th against Wapato at 5:00 p.m. The game will also give Toppenish their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
