Volleyball Recap: Jordan-Matthews Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Jordan-Matthews was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Southwestern Randolph Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Monday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-14, 25-9.

Jordan-Matthews' loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Southwestern Randolph, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jordan-Matthews will take on Southern Lee at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Southwestern Randolph, they will challenge Randleman at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
