Football Game Preview: Lincoln County Red Devils vs. Warren County Screaming Devils + Official Tickets

Lincoln County is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Warren County is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Red Devils will host the Screaming Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Lincoln County's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups.

On Friday, Lincoln County humbled Lake Oconee Academy with a 41-3 victory. The Red Devils' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Lincoln County's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Mekhi Wade, who rushed for 36 yards and two TDs, and Aiden Jones, who rushed for 74 yards and a pair of scores. What's more, Wade posted two passing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lincoln County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 258 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 228 rushing yards in five consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Warren County was able to grind out a solid win over Lake Oconee Academy last Friday, taking the game 16-7.

Lincoln County's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Warren County, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Everything came up roses for Lincoln County against Warren County in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 42-0 victory. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do the Screaming Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
