It was a good run, but Kelseyville unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Roseland University Prep by a score of 3-2. Kelseyville was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Roseland University Prep earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

While Kelseyville ultimately came up short, they really made Roseland University Prep work, particularly in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-21, 23-25, 26-24, 16-14.

Jayden Teabo paced Kelseyville's offense, picking up 30 kills. Teabo got some help from Julian Armas and his 50 assists. George Baqleh and Jorge Bernal kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Kelseyville's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 11-10. As for Roseland University Prep, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Kelseyville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Rio Lindo Adventist on the 23rd. Roseland University Prep has also already played their next contest (against Lower Lake), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
