Volleyball Game Preview: Bullard Knights vs. McLane Highlanders

The Bullard Knights will face off against the McLane Highlanders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bullard will be strutting in after a victory while McLane will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Bullard earned a 3-1 win over Sunnyside. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Bullard had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-8, 25-17, 25-17.

Meanwhile, McLane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Sanger.

While McLane ultimately came up short, they really made Sanger work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 26-24, 25-15.

Bullard's win bumped their record up to 29-8. As for McLane, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.

Bullard took their victory against McLane in their previous meeting on April 10th by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Highlanders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
