Cambridge and Kell are an even 3-3 against one another since August of 2015, but likely not for long. The Cambridge Bears are taking a road trip to take on the Kell Longhorns at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cambridge is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Cambridge is headed into the match fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Centennial a 12-0 shutout on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Bears have posted since September 19, 2023.

Lily Kimball looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.

Meanwhile, Kell got the win against Blessed Trinity on Tuesday by a conclusive 9-0. The result was nothing new for the Longhorns, who have now won four games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Cambridge pushed their record up to 6-1 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Kell, their record now sits at 5-1.

Cambridge came up short against Kell in their previous matchup back in September of 2023, falling 4-1. Can Cambridge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
