Softball Recap: Corinth Holders Gets the Win

Corinth Holders's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They never let the South Garner Titans get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Mia Gwynn, who went 1-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Marks, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one stolen base.

Corinth Holders' win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for South Garner, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Corinth Holders is set to challenge their familiar foe Willow Spring at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, South Garner will square off against rival Southeast Raleigh at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
