Volleyball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

If Washington was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Mt. Pleasant on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Demons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clear Creek-Amana Clippers on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Demons in their meetings with the Clippers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Clear Creek-Amana, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Washington has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Edgewood-Colesburg on the 6th. As for Clear Creek-Amana, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hempstead on the 6th.
